Research Technician (Seed Science)

The role

As Research Technician, you will be responsible for carrying out our experiments, which focus mainly on the germination and seedling stages. Your tasks will include sowing, counting, measuring, recording data, and supporting the analysis of results. You will also contribute to improving our experimental methods by identifying opportunities to increase efficiency and reliability.

This is a hands-on role that requires a high degree of focus and precision. The quality of our research depends on careful, consistent work, and you will play a key part in that.

Your profile

• A bachelor’s degree. A background in plant science, biology, or agriculture is an advantage, but it is not required.
• Fluency in English, as we work in an international team. Knowledge of Dutch is a plus.
• A disciplined, accurate, and professional way of working.

What we offer

• A gross monthly salary of €2,750, with travel costs included.
• A full-time position, Monday to Friday, from 9:00 to 17:00. Occasional weekend work may be required for ongoing experiments. This will always be planned in consultation with you.
